Pet Dental Care

Your pet’s oral care is important.

According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 70% of adult cats and 80% of adult dogs show symptoms of oral disease. In fact, most pet parents aren’t aware there is an issue with their pet’s dental health until there are already symptoms that need attention. Bad oral health can have an effect on more than just your pet’s mouth; if not maintained properly, bad oral health can lead to infections that can spread through the bloodstream to affect major organs such as your pet’s liver, kidneys, and heart.

Let’s protect that smile.

Proper pet dental care requires a strong partnership of at-home care and professional care in our clinic. We only perform dental cleanings on patients that are under anesthesia. This way, we can conduct a full oral exam, which includes probing the pockets around the teeth and taking full-mouth X-rays. Cleanings involve removing hardened calculus from above and below the gumline, polishing the teeth and applying fluoride to reduce any future buildup.

Our professional dental services include:

  • Digital, full-mouth dental X-rays
  • Dental cleanings (routine prophys) and tooth polishing
  • Fluoride treatments with every dental procedure
  • OraVet sealants as needed
  • Tooth extractions as needed
