Dr. Courtney Poders

Dr. Courtney grew up in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. She graduated with a Biology degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She went on to receive her DVM degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, finishing her clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Courtney enjoys traveling, she went to Nicaragua to do relief work and spay/neuter animals to help with population control. Also, she worked at a penguin rehabilitation in South Africa. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery specifically soft tissue and orthopedics.

When not at the hospital, Dr. Courtney is either hanging outside with friends, working out, watching sports, or traveling. She recently got married to her husband, David, and they have three cats: Daisy, Mac and Leeks.
